This charming Victorian-era piece was given away with Arbuckle's coffee purchases and features exquisite chromolithography by Donaldson Brothers.This cover shows a whimsical scene of cherubs studying a globe beneath a night sky, alongside an inset illustration and map of Palestine/Jerusalem (noted as a "Turkish Province"). The full atlas originally contained cards covering fifty nations, each with maps and illustrated vignettes — a wonderful piece of 19th-century advertising art and geography history.Condition: Sold as-is, item is over 135 years old.
