Vintage issue of WOTSAT in Wanamaker's children's magazine dated 1915. Volume 1, Number 5
Wotsat (meaning "what's that") was "A Magazine for Children". The spirt of curiosity (asking questions) which should be aroused in every child.
Based on the wording of the first article, this appears to be something mailed and marketed directly to children: "Children, do you remember, way back in the fvery first Wotsat book we sent you, Phansy said "Every chil ha a tast, or a talent for something and parents and teachers are beginning to understand that they must develop the NATURAL, God given gift in he child - else they will have failed in their duty." While the article is directed to children, the context seems to indicate it was intended for the parent. One page includes the "Ten Commandments to Mothers" and another article is titles "Mother Wotsat to Mothers" and talks about Natural Education.
