This is an exceptionally rare opportunity to own a museum-grade, 100% complete, First-Generation (V1), Savi’s Workshop custom lightsaber. Built during the opening year of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge in 2019, this entire set has been adult-owned, meticulously preserved, and stored in near-mint condition.
Unlike most loose hilts found online, this is a true "Time Capsule" collector's package** featuring original paperwork, attached retail hang tags, and explicit historical provenance.
In late 2022, Disney officially retired the original 2019 "Scrap Metal" part styles to make way for lighter, redesigned V2/V3 configurations. The physical metal parts on this hilt are no longer manufactured by Disney and cannot be replicated at the parks today. Collectors heavily favor these original Gen-1 parts for their superior weight, premium metallic feel, and iconic screen-accurate geometry.
This is a complete Power & Control (FIRST GENERATION) build and includes the original hilt, blade, kyber crystal, Power & Control pin, lightsaber sheath, and original retail tags still attached to the sheath. This Lightsaber is a time capsule experienceof opening year at Black Spire Outpost.
The lightsaber has been adult owned, carefully stored, and remains fully functional with working lights and sound effects. This is not a pieced-together set. Everything included has remained together since the original build experience. This saber has never been modified, repainted, weathered, or disassembled beyond routine battery replacement, preserving its original Disney factory finish. A copy of my original 2019 Savi's Workshop reservation confirmation will also be included as provenance verifying this is an opening-year Galaxy's Edge build. This specific saber was built in December of 2019, just four months after the Galaxy's Edge actual opening date of August 29, 2019.
While this is a one-of-a-kind custom Savi's Workshop build (not a screen-used character replica), its industrial Dark Side aesthetic makes it an excellent display piece for collectors of Darth Vader, Darth Revan, Darth Malgus, Starkiller (Galen Marek), Kylo Ren, Darth Maul, Emperor Palpatine, the Imperial Inquisitors, and other Sith-inspired sabers. The hilt shows only normal display and handling wear consistent with careful ownership. No major cracks, breaks, repairs, or modifications.
The original sheath remains in excellent condition with shoulder strap attached. Original retail tags and instruction booklet remain attached to the sheath, which is uncommon for used examples.
The included Power & Control pin is also in excellent condition and displays the 2019 Disney Galaxy's Edge marking on the reverse.
