This a kukri of the highest quality reproduced by EGKH and is in our view, undoubtedly a WW1 Officers Kukri. Officers of that period had orderly's to make camp for them, or in the jungle bashas, as well as prepare food for them etc., and would have used their service Kukri for such tasks. This kukri would have been an excellent side arm for an officer on operations, and although capable of utility tasks, he wouldn't have needed to do them as his orderly did that for him.The Kukri has a 35 cm long blade with a single fuller (angkhola), a belly depth of 5.7 cm and a rough weight guideline of approx 550-625 grams. The handle is Buffalo horn with a stick tang. It comes with a military scabbard and frogs with Tinder Pouch and 8.5 cm Chakmak and Karda utility knives.
