Up for sale is a true crown jewel for art glass collectors: a highly sought-after Fenton Art Glass Fairy Lamp in the Atlantis pattern.
Issued exclusively in 2001 for the Fenton Glass Society (FGS), this gorgeous two-piece fairy light is crafted in vibrant Topaz Opalescent glass. It features a milky, fiery opalescent treatment around the rims that beautifully transitions into a luminous yellow body.
This piece is highly UV-reactive! Under a blacklight, the uranium content in the glass formula bursts into a brilliant, neon-green glow, making it an absolute showstopper for an illuminated display cabinet.
The shade features an intricate, high-relief underwater motif showcasing swimming koi/angel fish, rising ocean bubbles, and nestled seashells. It rests atop a footed pedestal base sculpted to look like rolling ocean waves.
The bottom of the base is fully documented and authenticated with the following markings molded and signed directly onto the glass:
