Jeanine Barrett Photograph, Personal Letter & Mailing Envelope — 1970
An intriguing collection of vintage entertainment correspondence featuring a black-and-white photograph inscribed to “Donald” and signed “Best Wishes, Jeanine,” accompanied by a handwritten letter and mailing envelope addressed to the same recipient.
Dated May 15, the letter discusses her developing acting career, the challenges her height sometimes presents, an upcoming reading at Fox, and her excitement about signing with an agency. She thanks the recipient for his support and provides a mailing address in care of Jeanine Barrett in Universal City, California.
The accompanying envelope bears First Class markings, handwritten “Don’t Bend Photo” instructions, and a North Hollywood postal meter marking that appears dated May 16, 1970.
