It's Oktoberfest time again and here are five original vintage pinback buttons from my own personal collection that I have accumulated over the years.
This set includes these very early Oktoberfest buttons:
1961 -1st Festival. This is a reproduction of the 1961 First Festival Patron Member Button. I acquired this 20 years ago and it is included in this set for continuity. Still a great button - appears to be the same as the original. Approx. 1 5/8 in. diameter.
These are all original vintage buttons:
1962 - 2nd Festival and the maple leaf started getting incorporated in to the button design1963 - 3rd Festival showing some of the early buildings at the Fest Grounds1964 - 4th Festival showing a family enjoying Oktoberfest1965 - 5th Festival Showing a couple waving and holding a statue of King Gambrunis!Bonus - Heileman's Old Style Beer Original Honorary Brewery Tour Button
