The American Freedom Train Foundation's "Pre- amble Express" stops at Denver, Colo., August 12, 1974. Locomotive 951, from the Union Pacific, leads the train for the balance of the four month tour from Boston to California and return to the east coast. Preparations are being made during the tour for the 1975-76 transcontinental tour of the steam powered American Freedom Train.
