Up for sale is a beautifully carved, vintage Yipwon Spirit Figure (also known as a wanlek or hook figure) originating from the Karawari/Sepik River region of Papua New Guinea. This striking anthropomorphic carving features traditional curved hook elements representing the ribs and internal spirit power of the protective warrior figure.

Material: Hand-carved hardwood decorated with authentic, traditional earth pigments (ochre/white/black).

Display: Does not include a display stand. The flat bottom allows it to lean safely, or it can be easily mounted to a wall or custom base.
