Description Offered for Sale is this Rare Framed Boston & Bangor, The Sanford Steamship Company 1881 Broadside Poster. The poster was printed by Rand, Avery & Co., Printers Boston. The poster is for the 1881 Fall Arrangement, Steamers Katahdin and Cambridge. The backing on the frame states Property of Robert E Croul, Newburgh Maine. He is the collector that previously owned the poster. This Wonderful Early Framed Broadside would make a Great Addition to any Antique Advertising / Transportation Collection.
Size: Length 23" - Width 15"
Condition: - Good Overall Used Condition. The poster displays some tears, losses, residual tape (discolored) and general wear. The frame has some crazing lines (best way I know how to describe the lines / cracking that occurs around the frame). In addition, there is some nicking / chipping to the corners of the frame. Please see the pictures to view the condition of the item for yourself.
