A Blanc de Chine porcelain figurine of a Parakeet or Budgie preening, produced by Rosenthal (Germany). This figurine has the Selb-Bavaria hallmark which was used in the 1920s and 1930s.. The impressed model number appears to be K444 but is difficult to read. Outstanding modeling and detail, plus a very charming pose. Measures 5 1/2" tall by 2 1/2" long.No chips, cracks, repairs or restorations as determined by black light and lighted magnification exams.
