I emailed Franklin-Christoph's client service to verify exactly what thispen is made of. Per the manufacturer:
• The two engine-turned bands are SOLID STERLING SILVER • The clip, end caps and click knob are RHODIUM PLATED • The black sections are lacquer over brass • Production ran roughly 2002 to 2010 • It takes a common "Parker style" standard ballpoint refill
WHAT I TESTED
A new Parker-style refill is installed. The click mechanism engages andretracts crisply and the pen writes smoothly (see the writing sample photo).Tested and working.
Refills are the standard "Parker style" size, sold everywhere fromFranklin-Christoph directly to any office supply store.
