Vintage Aurora "45" pistol-form pocket lighter with integrated flashlight. Made in Japan, marked Aurora "45" / PAT. NO. 510265 on the slide and JAPAN on the butt. Circa 1950s–60s. Also sold under the Penguin name.
Chrome-plated body with black checkered grip panels, functioning trigger and safety switch. Petrol/naphtha flint lighter — the top slide lifts to access the fuel tube, flint assembly, and flashlight battery compartment.
Appears likely never fueled or fired. The wick is clean and unstained, the brass fuel tube shows no fuel darkening or residue, the flint tube is clear, and the original orange "BATTERY POSITION" paper instruction label inside the slide is present, fully legible, and unstained — all consistent with an unused example. Sold as-is; buyer to draw their own conclusion from the photos.
Condition: Very good vintage, exceptionally clean internally. No battery corrosion. Spark wheel turns freely, wick present. No flint installed and intentionally left dry to preserve the original paper label — sold untested as a lighter. Light surface scratching consistent with age. Grip panels intact, no chips or cracks. No dents.
Measurements: 4" L × 2.5" H × 0.6" W
Ships empty — no fuel present, never fueled by me. No batteries or flint included. Ground shipping only.
Sold as-is. Adult collectible; not a toy.
