Description:This vintage Wedgwood Mount Holyoke College blue transferware platefeatures the iconic Field Memorial Gate located in South Hadley, Massachusetts. Originally produced around 1933 during the administration of college president Mary E. Woolley, this 9 1/4\" plate was commissioned byMount Holyoke Collegeand distributed through the prominent Boston luxury retailer Jones McDuffee & Stratton. It is marked as shown in blue, and also carries the impressed Wedgwood makers, marks and numbered. Nice collectable plate here!
