ONLINE INFO FROM SESRCH: "This listing is for Firestone advertising history. The story goes that these were made as a giveaway sales gimmick when the Firestone tire company brought out a new store called 'The Firestone Supreme'. The idea for the sprinkler is supposed to have come from Henry Ford a good friend of Harvey Firestone. Henry Ford also is said to have made the first run of sprinklers using solid brass, after which he suggest to Harvey Firestone that he should find an independent maker to carry on making them but he never did. Therefore, there are said to be only a hundred that were ever made"
