10\"Antique Promotional Plaque Seattle Brewing&Malting Co Malt Rainier Breweriana For Sale

This plaque was released in the 1900s, I believe around 1915. This was a promotional plate for Malt Rainier \"the pure malt tonic\". You received this art plaque if you mailed in five dozen coupons, which could be obtained by buying a bottle of Malt Rainier, for each bottle had one coupon wrapped around it. This is 1 of 2 art plaques released during this promotional period. The back lists Seattle Brewing & Malting Co. which was based in Seattle, Washington.
As stated in conditions, this plate does have some pretty major flaws. Although most of the promotional writing on the back is legible, there is a part that is scratched on \"postage\". You can figure that is what it says, but nevertheless is a flaw. There are multiple superficial scratches on the back, as well as some scratches that removed actual paint. The gold trimming on the back portion is in much better condition than the gold trimming on the front. As you can see from the photos, there are a lot of rubbed off areas of the gold trimming in the front. The picture depicts yellow poppies in some greenery. Some of the picture is faded at the bottom and on the mid-right area. There is also scratches in the front , mostly at the top. This is a light metal plaque with a wire on the back for easy display.
Please keep condition in mind prior to purchase. A really interesting part of breweriana and would be great for someone that collects. The Rainier brewery, located in Seattle Washington, closed in 1999 and had been in operation for 121 years, The Rainier name was then sold off to Pabst, and is currently being brewed in Irwindale, California.
