This is my grandmother's copy of The Desert from 1932 which is the University of Arizona's yearbook or annual. She was forced by circumstances at home to drop out during this year, so this book does not appear to be signed anywhere except the inside front cover where she wrote her name and address and one person on the page pictured above. While I didn't go through it page by page, I really think that is all the signing in the book making it very pristine and clean.
This book is also a treasure trove of vintage advertising in the back. I've included a few of the pages, but there are many more to enjoy. Interspersed among the advertisements are short "stories" lampooning the various campus fraternities and sororities. Even not knowing the "actors" these are fun to read. My grandmother marked her official picture with an envelope that I am leaving in. As her name is on the inside front cover, it will be easy for the buyer to find her photo, should there be an interest.
