In 1972 a young Luigi Viprati bought a briar root and carved a pipe just for fun - and a life-long passion was born. In the following years he became more and more experienced with briar, and in 1984 he started to sign his pipes with the brand "La Pipa di Viprati." La Pipa di Viprati has since become known worldwide for their artisanal beauty and quality of craftsmaship. A Viprati pipe is one of the best you can buy, and no collector's cabinet is complete without one.
