Description:This antique photograph album from the late 1800’s to early 1900s is a beautiful piece of history. It comes with 51 mostly 4”x6” photographs, some of which are identified. It also include 2 beautiful memorial cards. This album represents the Morton family.It was given to me by a Morton to sell – it was handed down to her through the generations, but she was not interested in keeping it with her most recent move and no one else in the family wanted it.The photos are in black and white. The format of the photographs is cabinet card and the album is in a medium size, about 12” x 10” x 2.5”.Overall, this is a unique and charming piece that would make a great addition to any collection.I will be listing other albums from this family collection and will combine shipping if you want to purchase more than one.
Condition:Very good condition for an item of this age and obviously well cared for as there is tissue between photo pages to protect the photos. Clasp works, binding is good. One of the metal corner protectors is missing. There is the expected yellowing of paper and minor tears.Most of the photos are in good condition.Please look carefully at the pictures and ask any clarifying questions before purchasing.
