Offered here is this wonderful Antique Art Nouveau ca. early 1900's Spelter Statue. This statue is in fair condition, particularly for something that is over 100 years old, however, it has unfortunately been broken, is missing a hand, and probably part of the branch at the back of the statue, and has quite a few holes in it as well. I am not completely sure that it is spelter, but it is metal, and non-magnetic, however, it is not brass, and I do not believe that it is pewter either. It has been painted in a light gray/ivory color, and this is quite worn as well, with the darker grey metal color showing through. It probably dates to the early 20th Century. It is 16" tall, 8" across at most, and about 5" in diameter at the base. It is an interesting antique piece of statuary, and its flaws actually give it character. It would be a very nice addition to any antique art nouveau collection.
