Diesel Train Locomotive Piston Bookends for Man Cave Office, Garage, Fathers Day For Sale

For sale is a pair of Diesel locomotive piston bookends that would be a conversation piece in any garage/office/man cave.
The piston is made of aluminum with a steel cap, to reduce rotating mass while having the protection of steel at the top of the piston. The wrist pin bushings are intact.
Each piston half is 10" tall and 9" wide, and weighs 21 pounds. Appeared to never have been used when I bought it years ago.The piston was cut on a machine shop band saw and then milled flat to clean up the saw marks.
I have used them as bookends on and off over the years, but storage in the basement has resulted in the steel cap getting some surface rust.
Cleanup was minimal, leaving it to the buyers choice to leave as is or polish or shot blast/seal/plate/paint the steel cap
