Add a touch of African culture to your collection with these stunning bronze statues. Provenance unknown but likely handmade by skilled artisans in Kenya. These elongated tribal figures are a rare find. The hand-antiqued white patina adds a unique touch, making them an eye-catching addition to any display.
These collectibles are perfect for those interested in African art and cultures. The set of four statues would make a great addition to any home or office, and their high-quality craftsmanship ensures that they will be cherished for years to come. Don't miss out on the opportunity to own such a beautiful and unique piece of African art.
Originally purchased at Antiquarius, an African decor gallery in NYC in 2005.
Original color was a brownish gray aged bronze patina. I hand-painted each with several layers of milk paint and gold metallic paint to give it a brighter aged patina. They are now even more stunning!
There are four statues. One contains two figures , mother and father. So technically this is a set of 5 figures standing on four separate statues bases.
