NOS lot 8 Vtg WWII Vietnam Guy rope line wire antenna tensioner Stanley brass For Sale

These are brand new old stock, made by Stanley, military issue rope or line tensioners... I believe these have two uses... One is the ropes on deuce and a half trucks for the troop ladder in the back and the other use is antenna guy line tensioners. Basically a one way spring loaded clutch that fits the end of a rope and clamps it one way, pull the fluted portion which is springloaded releases the ball bearing clutch inside... The paint on these is the standard dark OD WWII - 50's era military paint... I would have to imagine these are a little too over engineered to be tent hardware I think they could possibly be Antenna guy wire tensioners... There are many re-purposing uses for these as well...
