0048 / Antique real photo postcard showing nine attendees of the 1907 Arkansas "Arkansaw" Travelers 4th annual meeting held in Eureka Springs. The meeting was June 6, 7 & 8, 1907. This photo appears to have been taken beside one of the natural springs in the Eureka Springs area, perhaps Harding Springs. The men in the photo appear to be wearing the ribbons and badges from the meeting. The women are wearing white dresses. Some of those pictured have umbrellas in hand and they are all sitting on a bench with rock formation behind and beside them.
The postcard was not mailed, but on the back is written this message: "Arkansas Travelers" Meeting Eureka Springs 1907 / Well, it all over but "I'll never look the same" and was pretty good too. Certainly missed you would have been tickled to death to have had you with us.
Condition: the postcard has no rips, creases or tears. There is corner and edge wear to be expected with a card over 100 years old. Please see scans.
Condition of postcard is normal with age, and storage mighthave caused some yellowing/tanning, creases and edge dents, edge/corner wearand other wear, and could have some writing on front and/or back.
