This extremely rare large pin-on Detroit Police Blazer crest is fashioned of spun gold and silver bullion so as to resist any tarnishing over time (as documented in the photo of the rear of the item.) It has never been polished or cleaned and yet remains in incredibly great condition. It was issued to a limited number of sworn Detroit PD Officers who had specialized duties within the department.This item is likely of interest to the most serious and devoted collectors of Detroit police memorabilia.
