This listing is for a RARE L. Warren Illustrated Political Drawing Art Cartoon NEW JERSEY SENATOR Vtg. This piece features a hand drawn piece of graphic art / political cartoon work. It is signed only “L. Warren” and titled “New Jersey U.S. Senator”. I am unsure which senator it represents, or perhaps if it was a piece for a campaign. May have been commissioned for. Newspaper or magazine, given as a gift, or just have been created by a spiteful artist. I believe it dates from the 1940s, though it could be earlier or later. The visually stimulating design is excellent for many rooms and a large variety of decor styles. It makes this an excellent staple piece for your collection, one your friends definitely wont have! It is in good condition, with no major damage. There is some foxing on the original cardboard backing, and some wear to the frame- see photos- could be re-framed & matter at buyers discretion. The work itself has no foxing issues, major stains, tears, etc.
