Gargantua Bust. Circa 1938. Miniature bust sculpture of the famous ape that, according to some reports, saved the fortunes of the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus in the late years of the Depression by becoming perhaps its biggest attraction.

This item was produced as a souvenir while he was a circus attraction in the late 1930’s or 1940’s and is extremely rare.
