During 1897-1898, all of the company stocks and bonds were purchased in the interest of the IC. On Apr. 6, 1903, the company was sold and conveyed to the Dubuque & Sioux City Railroad Company (D≻ see IC 8 D8). The line runs from Stacyville to Stacyville Junction, Iowa, for under 8 miles.
