Vintage 1950s Thames Japan China Ruffled Girls Hugging on Sofa Figurine For Sale

Good Condition. There is a chip on the ruffle on the girl on the right side. I point at it in my pictures. The hair on the girls is light and streaky. I am not sure if it is wear or just the way it was put on. Surprisingly the hands and fingers are intact. Those are usually the first thing to get broken off on figurines. The colors are bright and those ceramic ruffles are really cool!
There are no maker marks on this piece but it is known to be made by Thames Japan Fine China, in the 1950s to the 1960s. I have seen these figurines where the arms are in different positions and the legs are in different positions so they have variations of this figurine.
The figurine measures 6 inches or 15.24 cm at its tallest point.
The figurine measures 5 3/4 inches or 14.61 cm side to side at its widest point.
It measures 3 1/4 inches or 8.255 cm front to back at its widest point.
When I first found this figurine I had the bizarre idea these girls were tusseling on the couch as that is what I and my siblings would be likely to be doing, but no, this is a sweet scene of the two girls moving into a hug. I love the pink on the ruffles and really, they look almost like fabric! I love this adorable figurine! You will too!
