Vintage Silk Charmeuse & Cluny Lace Twin Bedspread Bed Cover & Sham YY939 For Sale

A glamorous silk and lace bed cover and matching pillow sham from a time gone by, a very MidCentury Modern look. The fluid pale celadon silk charmeuse is contrasted with the 5 inch beige Cluny full-length lace panels in the center as well as at the sides at the drop and along the side and bottom edges.

The overall condition is very good. Hand laundered and pressed. We note evidence of age in the faint spots in the lace and some water marks and spotting in the silk (see photos). The sham is missing a button on the reverse. None of this reallydetracts from the overall elegant look of the set.
