Extremely rare pamphlet from what is almost certainly the first American exhibit of paintings by Amadeo Modigliani. Modigliani died in 1920 and had had only one exhibit (in France) during his lifetime. His dealer struggled to sell his work while he lived. Now, of course, his works sell for hundreds of millions.
